Let it be noted that Bolivar Borough Sewage Authority no longer exists. The Sewage Authority was sold to Tri-Community Sewage Authority in January 1992 and Bolivar Borough Sewage Authority was terminated under Resolution # 1-29 on August 3rd 1992. Ordinance signed by Council President at that time, Patricia Short. Witnessed by Florence Bella, then Borough Secretary.

Let it be also noted that Patricia Betts, current Secretary of Borough contacted Tri-Community Sewage Authority Secretary, Cindy Shetler, who looked up their requirements of retention and stated since Borough’s Sewage Authority no longer exists and receipt records are from the (70)’s Seventies they are no longer needed and can be destroyed.

Therefore, Bolivar Borough Resident Sewage Receipts, stubs of payments made to Borough Sewage Authority for year 1976 thru 1987 were shredded.
