Whereas, The Borough of Bolivar presently does not have a centralized service for the collection of garbage within the Borough limits, and

Whereas, Banks Wright and Edith Wright t/d/n/a Clean Sweep Sanitation Service, jointly and severally, have made a proposal whereas they will immediately start to provide services for the collection of garbage and removal of the same from the Borough at a charge to the inhabitants of Fifty ($0.50) cents per week immediately with the right to increase the charge to two ($2.00) dollars per month upon notice given, and

Whereas, Borough council of the Borough of Bolivar is satisfied that the said Banks Wright and Edith Wright t/d/b/a Clean Sweep Sanitation Service, are reliable Contractors.

Now therefore, be it hereby resolved and it is hereby resolved by authority of the same that Banks Wright and Edith Wright t/d/b/a Clean Sweep Sanitation Service, are hereby authorized to become the authorized collector of garbage within the Borough of Bolivar.

Furthermore, the President and Secretary of Council are hereby authorized to execute whatever agreement with the above listed individuals is necessary in order to have the same immediately start a garbage collection service within the Borough limits.

Resolved this 1st day of September 1970, a full quorum being present in council assembled.
