Termination of
Bolivar Sewage
Authority
A Resolution of the Borough of Bolivar approving the Certificate of the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage Authority Requesting that the Existence of the Authority be Terminated / Dissolved
Whereas, the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage Authority is a municipal authority which has been duly established by the Borough of Bolivar, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of owning and operating sewage collection and treatment facilities in said Borough and,
Whereas, the Tri-Community Water ad Sewer authority is a municipal authority which was later incorporated and formed for the purpose of providing sewage collection and treatment facilities for the Borough of Bolivar and the Township of Fairfield, both in Westmoreland County , Pennsylvania, and the Township of West Wheatfield in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and
Whereas, the sewage collection and treatment facilities of the Tri-Community Water and Sewer Authority have now been constructed and are fully operational, and
Whereas, all bonds and indebtedness of the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage authority have been paid in full and discharged and the authority has settled all other claims which were outstanding against it, and
Whereas, the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage Authority has submitted a Certificate requesting that the existence of the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage Authority be terminated / dissolved.
Now therefore, be it resolved, that in accordance with the provisions of the municipal Authority Act of 1945 relating to the termination / dissolution of an authority, the existence of the Bolivar Borough Municipal Sewage Authority is hereby terminated / dissolved. 2
Duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Borough of Bolivar held on the 3rd day of August 1992.
